Flash Band Roofing Tape is a bituminous self-adhesive waterproofing tape protected by a metal film in aluminium or HDPE film, natural or coloured, non reinforcement or reinforced with a polyester film.

The adhesive bituminous compound is protected until use by a silicone release film.Versatile and easy to use:

They are cold applied in a simple and quick way. No special tools are required.

They are available in different thicknesses and a broad range of widths and lengths. The different colours ensure the very best aesthetic result every time.--- Self adhesive bitumen insulating tape ---

Safe over the years: The special film protects the compound from ageing caused by all factors that could compromise integrity: gas, light and UV rays.

The bituminous compound is self-sealing: in case of small tears or accidental holes, the tape seals itself and remains waterproof. Waterproof asphalt strip , bitumen strip For protecting: metal, plastic, asbestos cement, roofs and coverings in general.

For sealing: frames and skylights, parapets, glass and plastic structures.

For repairing: Hatch cover ,tiles, gutters, metal pipes, metal plate or asbestos cement roofs.

Notes:

1) Before application, ensure the basement is free from dirt, dust, contamination ...Don't expose to petrol, white spirit, paraffin and similar organic solvents which will dissolve the bitumen

2)Application temperature: from +5 degree to +45 degree

3)Using a small roller to ensure that all the edges and overlaps are forming proper seals and installed in a manner

4)Overlaps should be at least 25mm

5)If basement is concrete or brick with ash .., it is better to apply a bitumen based primer before application.

Application:

1. Flash Band Roofing on roofings, undergrounds, construction joints and joint sealing of high polymer waterproof membranes.

2. Sealing on joints of subways and tunnels.

3. Joints of colored panels and solar panels.

4. Joints of steel constructions and repairs of steel roofings.

5. Aluminum foil surface type is used for the sealing of wood roofs, steel, constructions, waterproof membranes, etc.

6. Sealing of windows and doors; sealing of tube and tube joints.
