Hotmelt Mesh Film is a TPU adhesive web produced by spinning, plaiting and rolling hot-melt polymer into an open net. It is sandwiched between materials and activated with an iron or hot press.

The open mesh keeps the laminate lighter and more breathable than a continuous adhesive layer. When heated between the selected materials, TPU flows locally and forms a double-sided bond.

Applications named include embroidered badges, insoles, cotton, fabric, leather, garments, footwear and car interiors. Compatibility with coatings or heat-sensitive textiles requires a pressing trial.
