Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in conjunction with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Health and Health Commission, has compiled the "List of Priority Controlled Chemicals (Second Batch) (Draft for Comment)", and the deadline for public comments is May 31, 2020.
The "List of Priority Controlled Chemicals (Second Batch)" focuses on chemical substances that have greater environmental and health hazards, may exist in the environment for a long time, and may have unreasonable risks to the ecological environment and human health.
The second list contains 19 types of chemical substances, involving petrochemicals, plastics, rubber, pharmaceuticals, textiles, dyes, leather, electroplating, non-ferrous metal smelting, mining and other industries.
The 19 types of substances are: 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol, isopropylated triphenyl phosphate, pentachlorothiophenol, benzo[a]pyrene and 7 types of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, pentachloro 3 kinds of chlorobenzenes such as benzene, cyanide, benzene, toluene, tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate, bis(α-ethylhexyl) phthalate and 4 kinds of o-benzenes, 1, 2-dichloropropane, 1,1-dichloroethane, 2,4-dinitrotoluene, o-toluidine, thallium and its compounds, polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans, perfluorooctanoic acid and Its salts and related compounds, hexachlorobutadiene, pentachlorophenol and its salts and esters.
